Why this group?

So, once again, my teenagers have a major group project due next week.  I cannot tell you how much I disdain group projects for older kids…  Here’s why:

Transporting kids to houses to “work” on these projects

Individual responsibility – does everyone really contribute equally?

Planning when to get together so that everyone has time for their other activities – piano lessons, soccer practice, dance classes, other homework.
